Solana is ORA's quietest composition — a residential master plan in 6th of October built around restraint. Sand-toned facades, deep shaded arcades, and a sequence of garden courtyards give the development the unhurried calm of a desert afternoon.

The typologies — standalone villas, twinhouses, townhomes, and low-rise garden apartments — are arranged around shared courtyards and planted walkways, with cars pushed to the perimeter so the inner streets belong to residents.

Solana is newly master-planned. The first cluster — the Courtyard Villas and Garden Townhomes — has just opened for registration, with first deliveries scheduled for 2028.

The development sits within established 6th of October, minutes from Mall of Egypt and the Wahat road, putting Solana within easy reach of West Cairo's schools, retail, and the wider city.

Why Solana

Six ideas that shape the master-plan.

01

Garden Courtyards

A sequence of shaded garden courtyards — the green, social heart of every residential cluster.

02

The Spine

A planted central spine of small retail, a café, and a community house running the length of the plan.

03

Clubhouse & Care

A residents' clubhouse, a primary care clinic, and a nursery — sized to the community, not the crowd.

04

Walking Streets

A 15-minute community standard: every front door within a 15-minute walk of essentials.

05

Desert Garden

A central desert garden of native, low-water planting — running tracks, shaded seating, calm.

06

Quiet Architecture

Sand-toned facades and deep shade — restraint over flourish, drawn for the desert afternoon.

Masterplan

Five zones, one quiet walk.

The Solana master plan is organized around a planted central spine, with a desert garden as a soft, green counterweight at its centre. Residential clusters fold around shaded courtyards; the small civic uses sit along the spine.

The plan was developed in collaboration with Foster + Partners, with landscape design by SWA Group. It is fully master-planned and entering its first phase of delivery.

Living at Solana

A community,
drawn for calm.

Solana is designed around an unhurried rhythm. What follows is the daily life the master plan is built to make possible — courtyard by courtyard.

Morning · The Spine

Coffee on the Spine

A café opens onto the planted spine by 7am — the shaded stretch where the morning walkers and school-run parents will meet.

Afternoon · Desert Garden

The desert garden

Twenty-two acres of native, low-water planting — shaded paths, a running loop, and a quiet that holds through the afternoon.

Evening · The Clubhouse

Pool & clubhouse

The residents' clubhouse — a 25m pool, a gym, courts, and a shaded terrace sized to the community, not the crowd.

Weekend · Courtyards

Weekend in the courtyards

The garden courtyards are made for slow weekends — shaded play, planted seating, and neighbours who share a wall of green.

Family · The Nursery

Nursery within the gate

A community nursery sits on the Spine, within a short walk of every residential cluster.

Night · The Spine

Small, good things

A handful of considered venues — a bakery, a deli, a quiet restaurant — line the Spine's planted stretch.
